So you're wondering how the sound in the very beginning of the CD is made, huh? Well, that's made by Craig, (nicknamed 133mHz) the sampler. He puts some crazy twists on the CD by adding sounds from movies on such into the music.
Craig origianlly joined Slipknot as a guitarist but his fasination in technology took over and he became a sampler. He leaves concerts early to maintain his anonymity. He also feels alienated and alone since noone comes near him while he's headbanging. I have also heard that he is the web master of Slipknot1 becaue he doesnt want some little nerd behind a computer spreding the sicness of slipknot and the fans here the news first hand from the members themselves.
Quote - "Sometimes, when we are working our way up to the stage, we'll shove our way through the crowd. When people see me coming, they mostly get out of the way. But sometimes they don't..."
Mask - He wears a "diver's" (actually a gas station helmet) with nails (spikes) coming out of the top. Dropping his helmet for an insane bondage mask with a zip ver the mouth, Craig has still kept the spikes, but taken it up a notch.
